The quality of your print depends on the quality of the scan or “capture”. Direct Digital Capture is the best possible way to get the perfect scan, using a digital scan back device. We offer three methods to capture your art work or photography.
Direct Digital Capture
(DDC) cost is defined by digital file size of your image after capturing. These prices range from $60 to $90 dollars. Multiple images captured simultaneously can yield significant discounts. Give us a call and we can help you to find what will work best for you. All DDCs will include a high resolution (300 ppi) Tiff file as well as a mid-resolution (72 ppi) web-ready image. Clients will receive an archival GOLD CD with these images at no additional costs.
Flatbed Scanning
Flatbed Scanning prices are range from $12 to $23. Scanned images may need additional cleaning, cropping, and/or image development. We charge a base rate of $50/hour for these services. Multiple image discounts may apply.
Drum Scanning
Imacon Flextight High Resolution virtual drum scanner is $23 per scan. Scanned images may need additional cleaning, cropping, and/or image development. We charge a base rate of $50/hour. Multiple image discounts may apply.
DSLR (digital single-lens reflex)
Our professional studio also includes the ability to digital capture three-dimensional artwork such as sculpture and jewelry. Our professional lighting profiles and diffusion techniques allow for great digital presentation of your artwork. Prices range from $23 to $45 for capture of three-dimensional artwork.
We also offer lamination and mounting services.
Lamination: $2.00 sq. ft. (additional hourly work may apply).
Dry-mounting to acid-free foam core: $5.50 sq ft. (additional hourly work may apply).
Dry-mounting to Dibond (Aluminium substrate): $7.00 (additional hourly work may apply).
Digital Design: Barry Norris Studio charges $50/hr for digital design work such as poster layout, postcard design, photomontages, etc.
Photoshop: Barry Norris Studio charges $50/hr for all digital Photoshop work.
